GhostDoc is a Visual Studio extension that automatically generates XML documentation comments for methods and properties based on their type, parameters, name, and other contextual information. When generating documentation for class derived from a base class or for interface implementation (e.g. .NET Framework or your custom framework), GhostDoc will use the documentation that Microsoft or the framework vendor has already written for the base class or interface.

The Task Canvas window is closed automatically when you close the solution. If you try to close the Task Canvas window manually, the confirmation dialog is displayed. Technically, the Task Canvas window is a document tab and when you, for example, run the Close All Documents command, Visual Studio tries to close the Task Canvas window as well. This dialog prevents such accidental closing. On the other hand, if you frequently open and close the Task Canvas window manually, you may want to disable this confirmation by unchecking the Confirm before closing option.

What is V3S?
VВіS is an extension for Microsoft's most excellent Visual Studio. It enables programmers to use Visual Studio as code editor for VHDL (and Verilog/SystemVerilog) projects. Following the rich feature set of the C# programming language, V3S offers many useful functions for efficiently coding in VHDL (or Verilog/SystemVerilog).

Note to new users: Intellisense and build/upload are two seperate functions of Visual Micro. You might see a few invalid intellisense errors (which you should report to the forum). After building a project with substantial code changes intellisense will become more accurate. However for some boards it is only 99% but can easily be extended.... Set the "Errors List" window to "Build Only" and/or "Open Documents Only" if false intellisense errors are annoying you, +report your code + board name to the forum thanks!
