Windows Firewall Control is a nifty little application which extends the functionality of the Windows Firewall and provides quick access to the most frequent options of Windows Firewall. It runs in the system tray and allows user to control the native firewall easily without having to waste time by navigating to the specific part of the firewall. What's new in version 4.0.3.0 (07.11.2013)
- New: Show Password checkbox has been added to the lock dialog.
- New: The notifications are now disabled even if the program is locked. The
notification dialog will be disabled but a large lock icon will be visible to the
user to unlock the program. While locked, any other actions on the notification
dialog are disabled.
- Updated: The WhoIs server was changed to who.is because it has better results for
IPv6 addresses. With the old networktools.nl server, only the IPv4 were resolved
correctly.
